It can provide users with a single equipment solution and equipment for a complete set of grain washing, drying, storage, and selection systems. As well as professional customized service technical support, reliable spare parts supply, and high-quality after-sales service. Look forward to working with you!
The prefabricated metal corn silo, constructed with corrugated panels, consists of two main parts: the cylindrical body and the top cover.
Hot-dip galvanized sheets are used. The panels are arranged according to the silo type. The bolts for the silo wall panels are “Harbin Standard” products, integrated with spherical pads and lined with anti-aging rubber pads to ensure the sealing, waterproofing, and service life of the wall panels.
We use columns to strengthen the silo structure. These columns are manufactured from Z-shaped steel, following standardized production methods. Connecting plates are then used to join the columns together securely.
These components are used for inspecting and entering or exiting the silo. Ladders are provided both inside and outside the silo.
For steel silos that incorporate mechanical ventilation systems, we reserve parallel and herringbone air ducts on the foundation surface.
Composed of beams, roof covers, tension rings, vents, and caps, the roof structure design employs advanced spatial technology to ensure stability under large spans while reducing the size of components.
We manufacture the ring beam and silo legs using I-beam steel. We weld flat plates to the upper end of the silo legs to correspond with the ring beam. Additionally, we attach inclined connecting plates to the legs to ensure they align properly with the slope of the cone bottom.
The process of assembling prefabricated corn silos is straightforward and hassle-free. We can purchase prefabricated galvanized corrugated sheets individually and then assemble them at the factory, leading to substantial cost savings. We custom tailor the dimensions of the silos to accommodate the specific requirements of our customers, making them ideal for constructing steel silos with capacities up to 2000 tons.
Install a rain cover on the outside of the exhaust fan hole at the top of the warehouse to prevent rainwater from entering, and place a sealed door on the inside to avoid air leaks when fumigating.
The waterproof and moisture-proof layer is typically placed on the high-temperature side of the insulation layer. This strategic placement helps to prevent moisture from condensing within the insulation material, thereby reducing the risk of air leakage and maintaining the thermal insulation effect.
Add a layer of solid insulation material on the roof to improve the structure’s thermal insulation.
Incorporate a ventilation layer on the roof.
Suspend a ceiling made of insulation material within the warehouse.
Apply whitewash to the roof, lay tin foil paper, or use paint with a high reflection coefficient for cooling effects.
Include an insulation layer in the warehouse walls; for single-story warehouses, polystyrene boards can be used to fill the hollow rib walls for insulation.
To minimize direct sunlight exposure on the warehouse, consider planting climbing plants or tall canopy trees in the warehouse area, provided it does not interfere with the construction and operation of the warehouse.
Reducing the warehouse temperature and ensuring proper ventilation is crucial in the daily management of the warehouse, particularly for low-temperature grain storage. The automatic opening and closing of warehouse windows are key to automating temperature reduction operations, which is significant for slowing the rate of grain temperature increase, improving work efficiency, and reducing labor intensity.
To achieve excellent air tightness in the warehouse, adhere to the following standards: after the warehouse’s doors and windows are sealed, the warehouse should maintain a specific half-life period under a pressure of 500 Pascals. For a single-story warehouse, this duration should be no less than 100 to 150 seconds; for a shallow-domed warehouse, it should be no less than 2 to 3 minutes.
Scientifically speaking, the Grain Silo capacity should be measured with volume (m3). Even in the same grain Silo, the storage tons will be different for different grains with different densities. The following table is calculated based on a Silo density of 0.75kg/m3, and surely HKB customizes Silo systems unique for you.
